What's the best way to contact you?
Believe it or not, email is probably the fastest way to receive a response. While we do answer the phone and return voicemails, email allows us to pull up your account information and research an inquiry ahead of time and answer your questions much more efficiently than a phonecall.
I didn't receive any email confirmation?
Please check your spam/junk folders in your mailbox.
Overzealous spam settings at mail providers and mail clients have a tendency to flag 'automated emails' as junk.

Why do I have to add some items to my cart to see the price?
Some manufacturers implement M.A.P (minimum advertised price) pricing and it is to comply with their requirements.
How soon before my product ships?
We strive to ship all products within 48 hours (M-F). Most ship sooner, but that is a fair estimate.
Is this product in stock?
Generally, if its listed on the website, it is in stock. We update our inventory levels several times per day, but on the rare chance that you order between inventory updates and a product becomes unavailable during that time, we will contact you with a backorder ETA and give you the option to proceed with a backorder, remove the product from the order or cancel the entire order.
You may notice some products have a 'Back in Stock' notification option available.
Some of these products are fast sellers or have limited availability. We've added this feature to allow you to receive an email notification on these products the moment they come back in stock. Your product subscriptions can be managed within your account page.
What is your return policy?

All products must be in new, unopened condition if it is being returned to SHTF-Gear.
Examples of new, unopened products:

A piece of clothing that still has the tags attached and/or has not been worn

A shotgun that has not yet been pieced together

A treestand that has not been assembled
Examples of products that SHTF-Gear will refuse:

A boot with mud on it (has been worn outside)

A riflescope that has been mounted to a firearm

A Leupold optic without the shrink-wrap around the original box

Any bubble-packed item that has been opened
I have a question about this product...
While we try to be knowledgeable about all of our products and we can assist you with most things, if it comes down to fitment, compatibility, etc. your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer(s) directly.
If you still have a question regarding a product, these inquiries are best handled via our 'Contact Us' form, so as to be clear in the questions and answers and we will do our best to answer or find the answer to your inquiry.
I want to order a restricted product?
Restricted products are items that fall under various city and state laws. These may include magazines, batons, certain knives, and pepper spray.
Please check our restricted products page for more information. This list is not updated frequently and may not be complete, as laws seem to change with the wind, so if you have questions regarding a particular product, it is best to consult your local/state officials regarding the legality of the product before you purchase it.
We will not ship restricted items to you, please do not attempt to purchase them if your city/county/state does not allow it. It costs us time/money and being reminded of silly local/state laws really ruins our day.
It is your responsibility to know and obey your local laws.
Do you offer Military/LEO discounts?
Not at this time, but we will in the future.
What happened to PayPal?
eBay, Paypal's parent company is very anti 2nd Amendment. They do not like people using their service to purchase knives, ammunition, firearm accessories, etc.
We have removed Paypal and added a 2nd Amendment friendly credit card processor.
Is my credit card information safe?
We utilize SSL security/encryption between your computer, our site and the credit card processor.
We do not store any credit card information on our website and receive regular security scans to verify PCI compliance.
The only personal information that we store is visible on your account page, this includes your Name, Billing/Shipping address(es), and Contact Information.
Why do you require my birth date and phone number?
We require a birthdate to verify that you are of legal age to purchase our products.
We also send out birthday gifts!
A telephone number is required if we need to contact you quickly about your order regarding shipment, billing issues, etc.
We will not give out, rent or sell this information, it will only be used by us in the event that we need to contact you about your most recent order.
